Not Your Typical Wheelchair Rental

If you or someone you know has limited mobility, you are all too familiar with the hassle of lugging bulky wheelchairs to your destination.  At Cloud of Goods, we envision a world where no one is limited by age or ability. Our mission is to enable visitors (and locals) to travel light knowing they can rent top of the line equipment delivered right to their doorstep.

With our extensive catalog, we can cater to your specific needs and abilities.  We have five different kinds of manual wheelchair rentals alone!  With this guide to wheelchair rental, you’ll be sure to select the chair that is right for your next adventure. So relax: everything you need is already there!

1.Transport Chair (lightweight wheelchair)

This wheelchair is our most popular for traveling families.  It is the lightest of our adult wheelchairs at 20 lbs and has a weight capacity of 200 lbs.  You’ll be sure to glide around Disneyland or Disneyworld with ease due to the four small wheels and the lightweight frame.  Keep in mind that due to the small wheels, the person riding in the chair cannot self-propel and will need to be pushed the entire time.

2. Standard Wheelchair

The standard wheelchair should look familiar as it is the wheelchair used in most medical environments.  It has two larger wheels on either side which allows the rider to self-propel using upper body movement.  Keep in mind that riders up to 200 lbs are accommodated and the wheelchair itself weighs 40 lbs. If you are looking for mobility assistance with a higher level of independence, the standard wheelchair is great for you.

3. Ultralight Wheelchair

Much like the standard wheelchair, the ultralight has two large wheels on either side which allows the rider to self-propel.  It is our premium wheelchair complete with high tread, flat free wheels allowing you to navigate tougher terrain.  Worry no more about cruising through Golden Gate Park or up and down the Las Vegas strip.  This particular wheelchair weighs about 25 lbs and has a weight capacity of 250 lbs.

4. Extra Wide Wheelchair

In comparison to the previously mentioned chairs, the extra wide wheelchair can accommodate riders up to 500 lbs. It has large wheels much like the standard and ultralight wheelchairs and weighs a total of 40 lbs.  With the 22” seat it is sure to make any rider feel comfortable parading down Fisherman’s Wharf or Old Town Kissimmee, FL.

5. Pediatric Wheelchair

Last but not least we offer a pediatric wheelchair for children up to 200 lbs.  It has anti-tip wheels located in the back and flip-back, desk style armrests so your kiddo won’t miss a day of school or play.

Keep in mind that all of our wheelchairs are completely collapsible.  Remove leg rests and fold in half to easily toss them in the car if you want to keep the adventure going. Don’t forget to accessorize! Further customize your experience with elevating leg rests, sun shades, wheelchair backpacks and more.  Whether you are too tired to tour San Francisco or a recent injury causes you to question your Disney vacation, Cloud of Goods will put all your worries at ease.
